Shan State Army North also declares war against drugs

At the end of the 5-day meeting of the Shan State Army "North", ceasefire group led by Col. Loimao, 4-8 July, in Wanhai, Kesi Township, northern Shan State, a source close to the SSA-N reported that a decision was taken to take strong action on drug users and peddlers. 

The SSA-South, led by Yawdserk, has been "at war" with drug producers since 1998.
