Aung San's draft agreement was read and approved by the Conference today. The draft was discussed in detail, some wordings corrected and the following day, Wednesday12 February, was set for the signing of the treaty. 

The Chins, Kachins and Shans also decided to form the Supreme Council of the United Hills Peoples (SCOUHP) in accordance with the resolutions passed on 6 February. The 18-member council, with 6 from each side, was chaired by Sao Hompha Hsenwi (later Sao Shwe Thaike Yawnghwe). Sima Duwa Sinwa Naw was elected as the Vice Chairman. 

The Shans also took the decision to mark 7 February, the day of their united defiance against their British rulers, as the Shan National Day.
