Shan State Day in Rangoon

The Shan State Day, 7 February, held at the Ninth Mile Monastery, Mayangone Township, last evening lasted 19:30-01:00.

Apart from Shans it was joined by PaO, Ta-ang (Palaung), Danu and Intha plus Khamti and Tai Leng.
 
It was officially renamed Shan State Nationalities Traditional Variety Show to obtain official permission, reports SHAN source from the former capital.
