TACHILEK CIVILIANS ORDERED TO BUILD DEFENCES
Following the attack on Tachilek by the MTA on March 20, 1995, the SLORC has ordered al the civilians of the town to make a 5-kilometre long concrete barrier along the bank of the Mae Sai river. Each household in the township has been ordered to donate 1,700 baht towards this construction.
