SLORC TROOPS MURDER "MTA SPY"

On November 9 1995, about 300 SLORC troops led by Lt. Col. Kyi Myint of No.332 LIB came to Nar Won village, Pung Zun circle, Murng Pan township and arrested a man named Sai Khit Mong, age 32, who was the son of Mae Pa Sar (mother) and husband of Nong Zar, 30. He had come from Murng Pan and opened up a shop selling consumer goods as a living at Pung Zun village. The Burmese soldiers accused him of being an MTA spy and shot him dead in the forest of Nar Sar near Pung Zun. They took away al his property (from his body along they got a 1 Baht weight gold necklace, a Seiko automatic wristwatch, a half-Baht weight gold ring an 150,000 K of money in cash).
