Sao Seng Suk's funeral information
Remains of Shan leader Sao Seng Suk, 72, who passed away at 17:45 yesterday, 13 August, will be cremated at 13:00 Saturday, 18 August. His illness was diagnosed by the doctors as lung cancer.
His remains, since this morning, have been lying at Tha
Kradard Temple,
northeast of the Old
City.
His family and his close relatives, who are arranging the funeral, hope all of
his former friends and colleagues will make it to the funeral on Saturday. In
addition, there will be chanting of the Abhidhamma each evening from 14-17
August.
