First Round of Cultural Exchange Seminar Concluded 

Initiated by Khun Markoban, Federal Affairs Minister of the National Coalition Government, non-Burman groups have just completed the first round of Cultural Exchange Seminar. 

The first session met on 6 - 8 February, at the Shan annual festival, the second on 1 - 3 March at the Mon Festival, the third on 9 - 12 April at the Karenni Flag Festival and the fourth on 11- 14 May at the Karen Festival. 

It was attended by representatives from Karen, Karenni, Mon and Shan literature and culture committees.
